Το πρόγραμμα περιλάμβανε το Trio No. 1 in C minor, op. 8 και το Trio No. 2 in E minor, op. 67, τα οποία ερμηνεύθηκαν από το TRIO CORDA, αποτελούμενο από τους Una Stanić (βιολί), Nemanja Stanković (τσέλο) και Vladimir Milošević (πιάνο).

Η δεύτερη συναυλία, την Πέμπτη 30 Οκτωβρίου 2025, είχε τίτλο Symphonism in the Piano Music of the Serbian Composers–Academicians και ήταν αφιερωμένη σε πιανιστικά έργα τεσσάρων σημαντικών Σέρβων συνθετών του 20ού αιώνα: Petar Konjović (Legenda, op. 8), Stanojlo Rajičić (Second Sonata, op. 19), Vasilije Mokranjac (Odjeci / Echoes) και Milan Ristić (Third Sonata).

Two exceptional concerts presented as part of the international scientific conference “Symphonic Music after 1945” at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts

As part of the international conference ‟Symphonic Music after 1945,” held at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts from 29 to 31 October 2025, two particularly engaging concerts took place in the Academy’s Gallery.

The first concert, on Wednesday, 29 October 2025, was devoted to Dmitri Shostakovich’s Piano Trios. The program included the Trio No. 1 in C minor, op. 8 and the Trio No. 2 in E minor, op. 67, performed by TRIO CORDA — Una Stanić (violin), Nemanja Stanković (cello), and Vladimir Milošević (piano). This demanding program, featuring two works of considerable technical and intellectual complexity, was delivered with remarkable virtuosity and impeccable balance. The three musicians performed as a single organism, communicating with absolute precision and a rare sensitivity to Shostakovich’s idiom. Their expressive nuance, rhythmic clarity, and expansive dynamic palette combined to project the dramatic tension, subtle irony, and profound emotional depth of the music. It was a performance that confirmed the ensemble’s exceptional artistic calibre — one fully worthy of the international concert stage.

The second concert, on Thursday, 30 October 2025, titled Symphonism in the Piano Music of the Serbian Composers–Academicians, was dedicated to piano works by four major Serbian composers of the twentieth century: Petar Konjović (Legenda, op. 8), Stanojlo Rajičić (Second Sonata, op. 19), Vasilije Mokranjac (Odjeci / Echoes), and Milan Ristić (Third Sonata). The program was performed by Finnish pianist Uki Ovaskainen, a long-term Belgrade resident, who offered an interpretation at once deeply sensitive and structurally assured. From the very first note, the refinement of his tone, the depth of his stylistic insight, and his ability to convey the drama, lyricism, and inner strength of the music as a genuine work of art were evident. Through a wide dynamic range and exemplary technique, Ovaskainen illuminated the importance of these compositions for understanding Serbian art music of the twentieth century.

The concert hall, which simultaneously hosted an exhibition of contemporary visual art, contributed to a heightened sense of artistic communion, while the cultivated and gracious audience responded in a way that enhanced the success and atmosphere of both events.
